A New Museum for Schools

With a dedicated entrance for groups, our Foyle Centre will provide purpose built learning facilities, including lecture and teaching spaces, lunchroom and storage, when the Museum re-opens in Spring 2017.

Along with five new galleries full of collections, engaging activities and in-gallery resources, the new Museum has been designed to support learning.

Our transformed Learning Service will offer relevant and insightful content to support onsite and offsite teaching and learning about the British Army and its impact on the wider world.

New Learning Service

Developed in collaboration with teachers and subject experts, our all-new learning service will provide enquiry-based, interactive, cross-curricular programmes and sessions.

Our new primary school sessions will explore history, citizenship, science, design and technology.

We’ll offer secondary school sessions exploring history and citizenship, including GCSE and A-Level study days.

The group bookings service will open in February 2017, but some new online resources are available now.
